- Sing as a beautiful three part canon
Deb’s note: I keep several of these canons going regularly with my class so if we are called on to perform some- thing with short notice we are always good to go! - Rhythm: practice 3 metre, use each phrase as a rhythmic dictation – practicing minims and dotted minims and the dotted crotchet – quaver (tam-ti) rhythm
- Melody: tone set analysis (extended F Major)
- Sing showing varied expressive outcomes then discuss what you changed (or would need to change) to create this particular expressive outcome e.g. a slower tempo is more likely to be more sombre and sad than a faster
