Optional activity – None will be given for the last 3 weeks – it is suggested that you use this time to work on theory aspects that require more practice e.g.

• Practice creating logical rhythms quickly in simple duple, triple & quadruple meters and compound duple meter e.g. take a bar of any of the rhythms in the 10 Weeks of Solfa program and create a full four bar rhythm based on that one bar.
• Write all possible scales ascending AND descending in treble and bass clef with and without a key signature (i.e. with accidentals).

• Practice writing all chords within all Major and harmonic minor keys in treble and bass clef.
• Memorise, and be able to write down quickly, the chord charts for the Major and harmonic minor scales
