Time: 9.30am-3pm (the online session will be accessible from 9.25am)
This Workshop will be delivered online via Zoom. Upon purchase of a Workshop ticket, the ticket-holder will receive the registration link for the Zoom session. Though it is not compulsory for all ticket-holders to attend the online session live – they will still receive all of the Workshop materials – those that do wish to attend must register via Zoom.
Suitable for students studying VCE Music Performance Units 1-4 & their teachers.
Early Bird Cost: $100 per student. Payment must be made by 12 August 2022.
Regular Cost: $125 per student. No refunds apply after 12 August 2022.
Although free, teachers and pre-service teachers must book a ticket to confirm their place.
An interactive, comprehensive and information packed presentation PLUS a detailed handout, practice exam, sample answers and comprehensive set of notes from the day (emailed to all attendees after the workshop) are included in the ticket price. PLUS, there will be heaps of BONUS material added to help you prepare for the VCE Music Performance Aural & Written exam.
Deborah Smith, author of the highly successful Musicianship & Aural Training for the Secondary School text book series and Decoding Sound – Music Analysis for the Secondary School will provide an overview of requirements for the VCE Unit 4 Aural & written examination including exam strategies for success.
